Hi Friends,

I was supposed to be away on a family vacation this weekend, but in light of what’s happening in our city, Angie, my kids and I all prayed together and felt it was important to revise our plans.  So I’ll be in the pulpit this Sunday preaching a sermon from Isaiah 58:1-12 entitled “A Call to a Country in Chaos.”  My heart is heavy.  I know people’s emotions are high.  I’m praying that we will allow God’s word can steady us and guide us.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Jeff

Benediction

Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams or with ten thousand streams of oil? Should I give my firstborn for my transgression, the child of my body for my own sin? Mankind, He has told you what is good and what it is the LORD requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God. (Mic 6:7-8 CSB)
