Matt currently serves our church through preaching and counseling, as well as overseeing different ministries. He was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Philadelphia in 2014. Matt and his wife Jess have been married for almost 25 years and have three adult children: Isabelle (married to their son-in-law Matt), Luke, and Jenna. They live in the Whitman neighborhood of South Philly with a mutt named Nellie, two cats, and a bearded dragon. Matt holds certificates in biblical counseling from CCEF, and is working on completing a Master of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. You can reach him at [email protected].

Caleb is a pastor at Christ Church who serves our church through preaching and oversees Transformation to Recovery (our recovery ministry), global missions, and children’s ministry. He lives in the Pennsport neighborhood in South Philly with his wife Jessie and their 4 kids (Titus, Alice, Andrew, and Simon). Caleb and Jessie both grew up just outside of Baltimore, MD. Caleb moved to Philadelphia in 2013 as a part of the team planting Christ Church and Jessie joined him when they were married in 2014. While not native Philadelphians per se, they are gladly raising four native Philadelphians. He is working towards a Master’s of Theological Studies from Grimke Seminary. Joe is a Pastoral Resident who works as our Director of Church Operations where he leads in helping us implement and execute our church’s mission. He also oversees our outreach, Community Groups, Men’s Ministry, Youth Ministry and Thrive (our ministry for singles and young marrieds in their 20s and 30s). He lives in the Dickinson Square West neighborhood in South Philly with his wife Kristen, and their two children (AJ and Jalese), and a small zoo of animals.
