This Sunday we are excited to have Doug Hayes from Covenant Mercies, a ministry that serves orphans in Africa, come and teach us about God’s heart for people that are often overlooked. Join us to be inspired and equipped to be a difference maker this Christmas season.
Please take time to review our liturgy below and use it as a prayer guide to prepare our hearts for this gathering. Also, be sensitive to how the Holy Spirit might be speaking to you and giving you a word of encouragement for our church. If He does, I would love to hear it from you. Finally, don’t forget to prayerfully consider who God wants you to invite this Sunday. Send them a text with a link, or come out together in person.
If coming in person, please RSVP. https://www.eventbrite.com/o/christ-church-south-philly-31522935663?s=125255171
Looking forward to being with you on the best day of the week!

December Gift Collection: Covenant Mercies is an organization that exists to serve orphans in collaboration with indigenous local churches in the developing world. Through Covenant Mercies’ indigenous partnerships and years of ministry experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, they have learned that effectively breaking cycles of poverty means a significant and intentional investment in the education of children. This year we have the opportunity to help Lighthouse Christian School build their library by purchasing books which will be delivered to their school in February. You can participate by purchasing a book from the online wish list found here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/173Q1P7RUYVH2?ref_=wl_share. Or, you can select a title from the display in the church lobby any Sunday between now and December 20, 2020. Collections of purchased items will take place every Sunday at the church building between now and January 3, 2021. If you buy a book on the online wishlist you can also have it shipped directly to their office.
