I’m looking forward to worshipping with you this Sunday! We are going to be continuing in our study in Luke’s biography and meet a blind man who sees something that profoundly changes his life. I think God wants to give us this same vision and do something powerful in each one of us.
Please do 2 things in advance of our worship service
- Set aside time to pray for our worship service. We need God to meet us, minister to us and encourage us. If the Holy Spirit puts something on your heart as you pray, please reach out to me and let me know.
- Consider who you can invite either through social media, sending a text, or making plans to come in person. A recent Gallup poll showed that every demographic in America is seeing a decline in mental health. Every demographic, except those who attend weekly worship services. https://news.gallup.com/poll/327311/americans-mental-health-ratings-sink-new-low.aspx. Friends, this is a unique moment in history that we must seize for sharing the peace and hope of Christ. An invitation could be as simple as, “Hey I was thinking of you and wondering if you might want to come to church this Sunday. I think the sermon is going to be really encouraging and we all need some encouragement right.” Pray. God will give you the words.
Excited for the best day of the week!

Through Covenant Mercies’ indigenous partnerships and years of ministry experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, they have learned that effectively breaking cycles of poverty means a significant and intentional investment in the education of children. This year we have the opportunity to help Lighthouse Christian School build their library by purchasing books which will be delivered to their school in February. Call to Worship
I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psa 16:8-11 ESV)

According to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith– that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph 3:16-19 ESV)
