This Sunday we are getting back into our series “Jesus Unfiltured” from the book of Luke. I’m excited to get back into it and for the word that I believe God has for us. One of the fundamental parts of being a Christian is that we believe that life is not pointeless and purposeless, but that God is on a mission in the world and He wants us to join Him. But in order to join God on His mission, we need to be really clear on the difference between our part and God’s. I look forward to studying this together and seeing how God uses this in our lives.
See you on the best day of the week!

I will extol you, O LORD, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. O LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit. Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Psa 30:1-5 ESV)

Dismiss Children to Christ Church Kids
This Fall we are hosting the Perspectives Course at our church building. Perspectives is a Christian discipleship course that presents the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of God’s heart for the nations and how people can get involved in God’s mission. The first two nights are free, but if you decide to continue the course it will be $295.00. You can register at https://class.perspectives.org/Visitor/Public.aspx?ClassId=434412. Praise and Prayer Night
On September 18th from 6:30-8pm we will be having another prayer and praise night to seek the Lord together as a church. Children are welcome to come as well.
Our small groups are this week on the 16th, 17th, and 18th! These groups are a vital part of our community life where we gather in smaller numbers to eat together, study the Bible and pray. You can find out more by grabbing a Small Group Info Card at our Info Table.
