Hi Friends,
Happy New Year! This Sunday, Christ Church is going to be getting back into our series in the Gospel of Luke.  We are going to be starting a section of Jesus’ most extended portion of teaching and I think God has some great things in store for us as we kick off 2019.  This Sunday we are going to be looking at what Jesus says leads to our fullest, richest, thriving, “Blessed Life”.
See you on the best day of the week!
Pastor Jeff

Call to Worship

When my soul was embittered, when I was pricked in heart, I was brutish and ignorant; I was like a beast toward you. Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.  For behold, those who are far from you shall perish; you put an end to everyone who is unfaithful to you.  But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works. (Psa 73:21-28 ESV)

Benediction

One thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Phi 3:13-14 ESV)
