Christ Church Sunday Service Preview 5/3/10

Hi Friends,

I’m sure by now you are realizing that Ecclesiastes is a very different kind of book of the Bible.  It doesn’t give sweet sayings that can go on coffee mugs.  It takes a very honest look at the grit of life and asks hard questions about it.  Ecclesiastes wants to get us to think, so that we can be prepared to live with clear eyes and an open heart to God.  This Sunday we will be looking at how Ecclesiastes 3 asks, “Life’s not fair, so now what?”  I’m excited for how God is going to meet us!
Also, you will probably want to tune in at 9:45 or so.  Pastor Matt, Pastor Steve and I give some announcements and its an absolute train wreck, but we had a ton of fun recording them.  Somehow we go from talking about children’s ministry to having to watch out for rabid mountain goats.
