I’m excited for us to get together on the best day of the week! Our worship service theme is: A Call to Faith. Faith is one of those things that can get talked about a lot, but not really understood. This Sunday we are going to be looking more at what it means to actually have faith, what are the characteristics of faith and how faith is meant to make a difference in the everyday stuff of our lives.
Hope to see you there!
Call to Worship
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works. The LORD upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works (Psa 145:13-17 ESV)

Youth Group Meeting
Our youth group will be meeting today from 12:30-3pm and meet at the Catoe’s home for fun activities and next week Sunday meeting up at 12:30 to go to a Cherry Blossom Festival. Youth ages 12-18 years old are invited to join us. For more information email Joe Catoe: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our small groups are this week on the 9th, 10h, and 11th! These groups are a vital part of our community life where we gather in smaller numbers to eat together, study the bible and pray. This is also one of the best ways to connect with people from the church. For more information, look for the handout at the Info Table.
The “Blooming Where You’re Planted” Ladies Potluck Breakfast is on Saturday, May 4th at 9:30-11:30am here at the church featuring guest speaker Laurie Reyes. Please RSVP by signing up on the insert included in this program and place it in a pocket hanging from the chairs directly in front of you.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith- (Eph 3:14-17 ESV)
