I can’t wait to be with you this Sunday. For the first time ever, I haven’t preached two weeks in a row. So be careful, I’ve got a lot of pent up energy that’s going to come out. Haha, just kidding. But seriously…
This Sunday we are going to continue in our New Year’s series we’re calling Resolved to Grow: 6 Ways to change your 2020. Something our culture is constantly telling us is that we have to be “True to Ourselves.” I think there is actually something really good about that, but the problem comes when we ask”true to what part of ourselves?” We can all have parts of our lives that we’d rather keep hidden. What do we do with that? Come out this Sunday to hear how God can take us on a path from hiddenness and feeling divided within ourselves to true wholeness and integrity. Just as a warning, I’m giving this sermon a PG-13 rating. We are going to be talking about real stuff like sex, porn, drug use, anger, and all kinds of things that we can want to keep hidden. All kids 6th grade and younger will be in children’s ministry, but I still felt that I needed to give you a heads up.
See you on the best day of the week!
