More and more as I talk with friends, neighbors and even members of the church, I find that there is so much confusion and hurt when it comes to gender identity. So on mother’s day we took some time to try to bring healing by show what God says about being a woman and for Father’s day, we are going to look at what God says about being a man. Ladies, this is not a Sunday that you are going to want to take off. I think it is crucial that you understand what you should be able to expect from men. And guys, come expectant for how God wants to encourage you, challenge you and grow you through his word.
Also, our renovations are under way, so you’ll have to excuse our appearance. It is really exciting though to see all the work that has been accomplished in just the first three days. Please respect the caution tape and please start to pray that God would fill up this larger space with those whose lives he wants to touch and change with His gospel.
Can’t wait to see you on Sunday!

He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. (Psa 103:10-13 ESV)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb 12:1-2 ESV)
