Hi Friends,
This Sunday we are going to be studying the key essential that Jesus gives for the Christian life.  I am very excited (and burdened) to study this together as I believe this is something that most of us miss, resulting in major road blocks in our spiritual lives.
See you on the best day of the week!
Pastor Jeff
Call to Worship
Leader: Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Congregation:  Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them.
Leader:  Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever. He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and merciful. He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.
Congregation:  He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations. The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy;
Leader: they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. He sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever. Holy and awesome is his name!
Congregation: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! (Psa 111:1-10 ESV)

Youth Group:
Our youth group will be meeting this Sunday from 12:30-3pm, we will meet in the lobby and then go to hang out in the city. Youth ages 12-18 years old are invited to join us. For more information email Joe Catoe: ccyouth@christchurchsouthphilly.org.
Small Groups
Our small groups are this week on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd! These groups are a vital part of our community life where we gather in smaller numbers to eat together, study the bible and pray. This is also one of the best ways to connect with people from the church. You can find out more by grabbing a Small Group Info Card at our Info Table.
Guys Camping Trip:
Please save the June 14th-15th on your calendar for a guys camping trip. More information to come.
Game Night:
Bring a friend and come join us for a night of board games, snacks, and good times! These game nights happen twice a month. The next one is May 20th at 7pm at Hope House (9th and Cantrell St.). Contact Luke Heisinger (heisingerl@gmail.com) for more information.
Church Picnic:
After our service on June 2nd, we will be hanging out at the church for a cookout! This is a low key, event that’s a great opportunity to spend extra time together, build our relationships and be the church out in our neighborhood. The church will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, vegan burgers, salad and chips. Hope you can make it! If possible, please donate $10/family or $5/person.

Benediction
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jud 1:24-25 ESV)
